Counseling Services
Evidence-based therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults ages 5-24, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches, which can incorporate exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness approaches, and child-centered play therapy depending on the developmental level and treatment needs/goals.
Counseling services addressing social, emotional and/or behavioral concerns, including but not limited to:
Anxiety and related struggles (perfectionism, school avoidance)
School problems
Peer, sibling and family relationships
Emotion regulation
Coping with Stressors
Self-esteem/self-confidence
And other social-emotional challenges

50-minute sessions (5-10 minute check-in with parent/caregiver)
Weekly or biweekly sessions depending on need
Therapy techniques will vary based on age and area of concern but may incorporate play therapy techniques and cognitive-behavioral approaches
Child sessions can either begin or end with an optional consultation about progress and goals with parent(s) and child (5-10 minutes)

Weekly or biweekly sessions depending on need
Therapy techniques will vary based on age and area of concern but may include cognitive-behavioral approaches focused on examining the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behavior.
*Teletherapy available via zoom after initial in-person intake assessment to determine appropriateness

Therapy techniques will vary based on child age and area of concern but may include collaborative problem solving, parent-child communication skills, and/or parent consultations regarding behavioral approaches for child at home

If your insurance provider is not listed, we may be able to provide out-of-network services. In these cases we are happy to provide you with a superbill to submit for potential reimbursement. We also offer Private-pay options. Unfortunately, we do not accept medicaid at this time.
